Elder Sherrine Husband

Elder Sherrine C. Husband is the Co-Pastor and First Lady of Mount Olivet Church and L.I.F.E. Church West, as well as the Co-Founder of the Alliance of Ministries Equipping Nations, ( A.M.E.N.) – a fellowship of churches and men and women of God with the anointing in their lives to break strong holds and release the area troops to continue the work they begun.

Co-Pastor and First Lady Sherrine C. Husband is the daughter of the Late Deacon Lloyd J. Charity and Deacon Shirley C. Charity. She has three sisters and one brother.

Co-Pastor Sherrine graduated from Highland Springs High School and attended Norfolk State University. She accepted Christ at the age of fifteen, and has been an active member of Mt. Olivet Church where she has served as Director of the Saturday Church School, Director of the Children’s Choir, Sunday School Teacher, as well as a member of the United Voices and the Praise Team Leader. She currently serves as Co-Pastor and was ordained as an Elder on September 30, 2007.

Co-Pastor Sherrine has been employed in the Finance Industry as has worked for Fortune 500, International as well as Non-Profit Organizations. Currently she is the leader of the Women’s Ministry – the Women of Destiny and for the youth the Daughters of Destiny. The women’s fellowship is open to all women and is a time of fun and fellowship as well as a time of revelation, restoration and transformation.

Co-Pastor Sherrine is also involved in the lives of other Pastor’s wives, Pastors and Ministers not only in the Richmond area, but as far away as India. She enjoys fellowshipping and developing relationships, as well as supporting other ministries. She is a firm believer that you do “reap what you sow”. It is her passion to speak life into the lives of women, especially those in ministry.

Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Co-Pastor Sherrine is a Worshipper, prolific teacher as well as a dynamic speaker. She is blessed by God with many gifts and talents, which she uses without hesitation for the Kingdom and Glory of God.

Co-Pastor Sherrine is married to Bishop Darryl F. Husband, Sr., Senior Pastor of Mt. Olivet Church, founder of Life More Abundant Ministries and Presiding Prelate of A.M.E.N. They are the parents of Darryl Frederick Husband, II, Gabriella Sherrine Agape Husband, Daytriel McQuinn, Eric Elam and Jason Oliver.
